Gail Rieger

Gail Rieger, 74, passed away August 16, 2012 at Burnt Tavern Nursing Facility in Brick. Mrs. Rieger was born in Jersey City, NJ and spent most of her life in Pennsylvania before settling in New Jersey for the past 15 years. Gail was a single mother who worked nights for various nursing homes as a nurse in Pennsylvania, to be able to care for her daughter, who she adored. She enjoyed art, the theater, ballet, vacationing and she had a great sense of humor. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Rieger is predeceased by her parents, Robert Scott and Sara Nolan Scott, Aunt, Margaret Johnson and Uncle, Doran Johnson. Gail is survived by her daughter Bettina Gail Dyer and her husband Dan Patrick, grandchildren, Ashley and Daniel, cousin, Thomas Booth and ex husband Wolfram. Arrangements are under the direction of the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 12:45PM at the Burnt Tavern Nursing Facility in Brick. Interment will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Spring Lake immediately following the memorial service.
