Evelyn McCullen Pellek

Evelyn (nee Dahl) McCullen Pellek, 82, passed away July 13, 2013 at her home in Toms River. Mrs. Pellek was born in Bayonne, raised in Fairlawn where she graduated High School later moving to Staten Island with her first husband before retiring to Florida for many years later returning to New Jersey. She worked for Macys as an Elizabeth Arden Saleswoman for many years. Evelyn was a member of the red hat society in Florida. She was an avid square dancer, enjoyed golfing and knitting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, step grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Pellek is predeceased by her first husband Robert McCullen Jr., second husband Robert Pelleck, brother, Theodore Dahl and grandson, Thomas McCullen. Evelyn is survived by her three sons, Robert Luther McCullen III and his wife Darlene, Paul T. McCullen Sr. and his wife Donna, and Dennis Patrick McCullen, 2 step children: Robert and Mary Pellek, eight grandchildren, Kellie, Paul , Kevin, Samantha, Carl, Krystal, Kathy, and Mark, two step grandchildren, Thomas and Spencer, four great grandchildren, Emily, Kyleigh, Delia and Declan, brother, Konrad Mark Dahl and sister, Virginia Richie. Friends may call Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be held privately.
