Born in New York, she resided there for most of her life before settling in Tinton Falls in 1990. She relocated to Lakewood in 1998 and resided in the Original Leisure Village.
Prior to retiring, Eleanor was a Supervising Translator for General Accident Fire & Life Insurance Company in Manhattan. She was also active in her community and was a member of the Hispanic Club, Italian Club and various other clubs.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Arthur in 1994.
Surviving are her daughters: Denise-Anjeanette Auffant Fusco, Diane Auffant-Kelly, and Michelle Olson-Diovanni; 6 grandchildren: Bryant-Doran Auffant Fusco, GregBrandon Auffant-Fusco, Michael Francis Kelly, Lorena Feliciano Diaz, Sonia Diovanni, and David Diovanni; and her dear friend, Ralph Maratea.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:30PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
