Dorothy T. Summa

Dorothy T. Summa, 73, passed away January 23, 2017 at Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital in Browns Mills. Mrs. Summa was born in Pensacola and spent most of her life in Palisades Park, NJ before briefly moving to Long Island and finally settling in Lakewood, NJ for the past 8 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Bethpage Federal Credit Union for many years. Dorothy was an active member of the Leisure Village Community, especially the craft club and ceramics club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Summa is predeceased by her parents Lucy and Salvatore Badalamenti and sister Rosalyn Badalamenti.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rocco, children, Nick Summa and his wife Kerri and Terry Brennan and her husband Michael, grandchildren, Riley, Matthew, Meghan, and Frankie, sister, Marian Jordan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 10:30AM at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately.
