Born in Lakewood on February 14, 1971, Deborah was a resident of Jackson, NJ for many years until moving to Toms River, NJ 10 years ago. She was a caring person and a "Super Mom" and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Daughter of the late Michael J. Chester; sister of the late Michael Chester, Jr. and Peter Chester, Deborah is survived by her beloved husband Wayne Goodwin; 3 children, Nicole Goodwin, Christopher Goodwin, and Alyssa Umstead, her mother, Barbara Chester; 2 sisters, Barbara Ann Eisenstein and Karen Kash; 2 grandchildren, Emma Vandeventer and Katie Vandeventer; and her nieces and nephews, Michael, Mara, Alex, Chelsea, Britney, Isabelle, and Sarah.
Viewing hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J. 08701.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Luke's RC Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.
Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood, NJ.
