Daniel J. Mallonee, age 48, passed away on Saturday March 3rd at his residence in Brick, NJ.
Born in Orange, NJ, Daniel was raised in Maplewood and lived in Brick for the past 15 years.
He worked for the United States Post Office for 30 years as a Letter Carrier.
Pre-deceased by his father Robert Nelson in 1978, and his step-father Robert Joseph Wittman in 2000, he is survived by his loving mother Madeline Wittman of Brick, NJ; his brother Bob and future wife Donna of Brick, NJ; a step-sister Patricia Kowalski and her husband Roy, and his niece Jessica Mallonee of Brick, NJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. A funeral service will be held on Friday March 9th at 11am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
