Cecil V. Good

Cecil was born in Caledonia, Michigan to Henrietta Boerma and Vernon Good. He graduated

from Lowell High School, received a BS Degree from Central Michigan University and a

Masters Degree from The University of Houston.

Cecil served in the Air Force during World War II, stationed in Guam, and again in Texas during

the Korean Conflict in 1952-1953. He moved to Roselle Park, New Jersey in 1960 and worked

for Marine Midland Bank in New York City as a Security Analyst, retiring in 1989.

Cecil married Jean Good of Roselle Park in 1983 and they moved to Greenbriar Woodlands in

Toms River in 1991 and subsequently to Harrogate in Lakewood, NJ.They were members of St.

Andrew United Methodist Church where Cecil volunteered to handle business matters for

several years. He was an active participant in Greenbriar bowling and golf leagues as well as

an avid Bridge player achieving Life Master recognition. Cecil and Jean were also members of

Caregivers of Central New Jersey.

Sports were a passion for Cecil as he was an avid Yankee, Giants and Michigan Wolverine fan.

After retirement he continued to follow the stock market closely being a daily subscriber to The

Wall Street Journal. He loved and cared for many dogs in his lifetime, particularly Muffy, his and

Jean’s Bichon Frise.

Cecil is survived by his daughter Christine Good, her husband Richard Kesin, their son Joshua

Kesin-Good, his step-son Gary Satkofsky, his wife Karen Satkofsky, his step daughter Carol

Del Conte, her husband Albert Del Conte, and their sons Albert, Anthony and Joseph Del

Conte.

Cecil was predeceased by his wife, Jean in 2023.
