Bonnie Jean (nee McFadden) Ziegler, age 66, passed away peacefully on March 26th at Paul Kimball Medical Center, in Lakewood, NJ. Born and raised in Summit, NJ, she lived in Old Bridge for 30 years before moving to Lakewood 5 months ago.
Bonnie worked as a waitress at the Bridgeway Diner for over 20 years. She is survived by her loving daughter Donna Schweikert and her husband Raymond Jr; her two sons James Kurtz of Palm Harbor, FL; Robert Steed and his wife Kerry of Matawan, NJ; her sister Lynne Ponzio and her husband Bruno of Palm Harbor, FL; and two grandchildren Raymond and Allyson. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 31st at 3pm, at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. Family and friends may greet the family from 2-3pm at the funeral home.
