Bernadine A. Snyder

Bernadine A. Snyder, 82, passed away September 26, 2017 at her home in Lakewood. Mrs. Snyder was born and raised in Staten Island, NY moving to Sugarland, TX for five years and then to various places in New Jersey before finally settling in Lakewood for the past 14 years. She worked as a secretary for Asarco in NYC and Valero in TX for many years. Bernadine was an avid bingo player and loved her trips to Atlantic City. She was an award winning artist for her paintings. Her true passion in life was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law and aunt and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Snyder is predeceased by her husband Jerome and brother William Coressel. Bernadine is survived by her two daughters, Donna Hagan and her husband John and Doreen Reno and her husband Ralph, five grandchildren Stacey Czujko and her husband John, Stephanie Carasia and her husband Jeff, Johnny Hagan and his wife Debra, Joe Reno and his wife Kristin and Denise Bruccoleri and her husband Peter, ten great grandchildren, Joey, Gianna, Frankie, Kellyann, Joseph, Emma, Anthony, Johnny, Dominic and Johnny, one great grandchild on the way and two sisters-in-law, Jane Coressel and Peggy Panzino. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:45AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church of Whiting, NJ. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Bernadine’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
