Born in Newark, NJ, Anne lived in NJ her whole life, and was a true Jersey Girl at heart, She was a hairdresser for 45 years, including Antonio's Hair Design in Livingston, NJ, and Peter Franco Salon in Trenton and Lawrenceville, NJ. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 17 years, proudly leading Troop 1677, and loved her word searches. She was an avid supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness, loved her plants, and adopted out many of her plant babies to friends.
Daughter of the late Gaetano (Tom) and Beatrice Ciasullo, Anne is survived by her beloved husband, Lincoln, and daughter, Danielle Carre (Dan) and was the cherished Nonna of her granddaughter, Alyssa. She will be missed by her brothers Anthony (Bonnie), Guy, and Vincent (Nadine) Ciasullo, and her many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Her best friend, Shirley Matlack, will miss their lively get togethers.
The greatness of a woman's life is not in the wealth she acquired, or the power she possessed, but in the hearts that she touched as she passed through this world. For those of us that called her wife, mom, Nonna, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, our lives are richer for having been touched by her loving and caring heart, humble and joyful spirit, her wisdom and her quiet soul. We will forever be grateful for the memories we hold within our hearts.
Rather than a funeral, Anne wanted a party. Cremation will be private. The family invites all who wish to celebrate Anne to join them on November 5, 1-4 PM, at LaPiazza Ristorante, 11 Church St, Allentown, NJ 08501. If possible, please let the family know if you can attend, but formal RSVP is not required. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable contribution to a breast cancer organization of your choosing or the St. Mary's Food Pantry, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Arrangements are by D'Elia Funeral Home of Lakewood, NJ, and to leave an online condolence, please visit www.deliafuneralhome.com
