Ruth Louise Reindel Blake, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Ruth was born December 23, 1942 in her home in Walled Lake, in Commerce Township, Michigan to Russel and Dorothy Chettleburgh. She married James Robert Reindel in 1961, and they came to Golden, CO in 1973, where they raised their four children. Ruth was very passionate about being a mom and was devout in her spiritual guidance to her children.
Ruth had a gift of giving. She was compassionate for those in need, often providing a home, safe space, and spiritual council to teenagers to adults alike. Ruth was part of the Baptist church in her early life, married in the Catholic church, and found her most recent church home at the Vineyard in Salida.
Sometime after James' passing Ruth met Richard Blake, and they were married in July of 2019. She and Richard loved to travel and find new adventure. They were constant companions.
Ruth will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard; four children, Mike (Vinessa), Jim (Lorie), Susie (Norman), Patrick (Maria); grandchildren, Joshua, Brian, Joel, Aaron, Isaac, Nathan, Roberto, and Katie; great-grandchildren, Kimber, Nora, Levi, Zara, Ziva, and a boy being born in April; extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband, James.
A visitation for Ruth will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Faith Community Center, 6228 South Carr Court, Littleton, CO 80123, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
