It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Richard Webster, who left this world on February 20, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on February 8, 1949, in Colorado, Michael was a quiet soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Michael was a man of gentle nature, who loved the peace and tranquility of his garden. His heart especially belonged to his petunias and vegetables, which he tended to with care and devotion. His love of nature extended to his many hours spent reading, enjoying the art of Sudoku, his love of animals and delighting in the challenge of trivia games, with *Jeopardy! * being a particular favorite. He also enjoyed the camaraderie of football games, always the quiet observer, yet deeply engaged in the game.
While Michael never married or had children, he had a close-knit family that he cherished. He is survived by his beloved sister, Jennie Dominguez, and his four nieces, Amy Mills, Lori Connor, Joanna McAdam and Julie Blankenheim as well as his nephew, Steven Webster. He is also survived by several great nieces & nephews. Though he kept mostly to himself, his family was the cornerstone of his life, and he will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Katherine, all of whom he held close to his heart.
Though his time on this earth was quiet, Michael's life was filled with kindness, thoughtfulness, and a deep love for the world around him. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love for nature and history, and his quiet presence in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 am, located at Guardian Angels Church,
1843 W. 52nd Ave, Denver, CO 80221
May he rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty he so loved.
