Aunt Mary,
She was our last aunt on the Gehring side to leave us and is now with the rest of the family in heaven.
Mary was an awesome person.  Very caring , very gifted, and an awesome aunt.  We appreciated all the things she was involved in and also as a family member.  I have to commend her for all she did and especially for being a mother to Willies children.  This is not an easy job to step into a blended family an care, discipline another's children well as her own.  She was as fair as she could be under the circumstances.  She was an exceptional grandmother, and great grandmother, taking them to church, babysitting, and traveling with them on many occasions.  Also special aunt, great aunt, great great aunt an great great great aunt to some of our family. always asking about them an how they were doing, as well as praying for each of them.  We talked many times on the phone about our families.  I will always be greatful to have had her in our family.
Would you see if Willie is still holding that round steak bone we gave him.  LOL
We are praying for your family during this time for strength, peace an healing.
We love you and will miss you greatly.

That was a beautiful celebration of Mary's life on Saturday. So many people loved her. We were blessed to be able to live next-door and get to know Mary for 6 years. Discussing politics and religion, or helping fix that grandfather clock, joining her for Golden's Candle Light Walk, she was always up for something. We'll miss her. Love, Matt & Yoko

We are so sorry for your loss.  We met Mary perhaps 20 years ago when she would walk briskly past our house on the way to her morning coffee club at McDonald's.  She was always kind and had a friendly hello.   Rest in Peace kind soul.

We, Bob and Judy are so sorry for your loss. We really enjoyed Mary during our stays in Colorado, 2008 and 2011 and 2012. As Bob just said, we will see her again in heaven and be able to enjoy her for eternity with Jesus. God's blessings to you all.

Aunt Mary was one of the sweetest and most gentle people I knew.  She was so easy to talk with. She and uncle Bill were very generous to spend time in Spokane when dad was passing (Chris Gehring). I will never forget their love and compassion. God bless you all as you mourn her. She was a good and faithful servant! ❤️ 

Mary and Bill were my neighbors for 12 years and remained my friends even after we moved “up the hill.”  Mary and I couldn’t have been more different, yet our friendship seemed to thrive on those differences. I’ll be forever grateful that she was a part of my life. My heart just hurts for every member of her family. I can’t imagine your pain. I hope it eases quickly and you can live in joy at her memory. 

To my grandma Mary in heaven, thank u for always loving me and guiding me even though u are no longer here with me I can still feel your love guiding me. You are always in my heart. I love u and miss u dearly. I remember a lot of stuff that we did together like playing hide-and-seek in the house,card games and having big dinners. One more thing I remember is I caught a baby rabbit and me and grandma stuck it in something and it jumped out and went into the kitchen we found it though. I love u with all of my heart. I miss you grandma. Theres an empty place in my heart that I never knew was there until you left. But I would take every ounce of hurt, every tear shed, every sleepless night because it reminds me of all the things you mean to me. So, wherever you are, I want you to know how much you mean to me and how much I miss you!

About 15 years ago, I started interacting with Mary at the church and we laughed at our shared experiences, of many years before with the main frame computers. She was a single mom back then and she had since found Jesus and Bill, and her life was better. Then a few years later we started praying together from 6-7 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. She would call me back after prayer time for clarification on prayer requests. 
Of course, she prayed for her family, but also for mine, she knew many of you college students by name, and all of my children and their spouses by name!
So, do you want to know what the impact of the 400 hours I spent in prayer with her are in our church life and my personal life.
	The College has grown and prospered as Mary prayed and sought special insight into many of you and your walk with the Lord. She has prayed your college class leadership through many thorny issues. Thank you Mary!
	My daughter is successfully remarried and her marriage is going well.
	My son is  a Lt. Col. In the Marine Corps and has been able to navigate through a myriad of issues there both personal and professional, and has seen God protect him.
	My daughter is here today as well as my granddaughter walking with the Lord.
	This summer after praying my grandson went to Id-Ra-Ha-Je, and we rejoiced together in his firm faith in the Lord; his parents are open-theists.
	My son is off parole and married to a fine Christian lady, and they are expecting in January.
I could go on and on but the point is, we need people who have this heritage of prayer for our church like Mary. Join us on Tuesday mornings and our church will not be the same nor will your personal spiritual outlook be the same.
Thank you Mary for the heritage you gave us.

Mary, was a great friend. We enjoyed playing cards and visiting.

Mary loved going to the mountains with us Woods girls, she was a winning of the card games most of the time. 

This last July my poppy were in full bloom and Mary loved their bight orange color and wanted some. So I had collected a lot of seeds for her yard. If any of you family members or friends would like these seeds i would love to  sending to you .This was Mary's last trip to Estes Park with here friends from Lowell Nazarene Church.

Mary, had so much faith loved seeing how much she loved the lord.
