Margaret L. Romero, Denver native, passed away peacefully on June 25th, 2021. Margaret, twin to Fred Baca (now deceased), who was born on November 18, 1923 to Henry and Estefanita Baca.
Margie never had children of her own, however she helped her mother raise Stephanie Hewitt as her own. She also she helped care for Carla Tate, Salvador Hewitt, Juan (Jonny) Garcia and Jolene Garcia whom she adored and considered her children. She was Godmother to Benny Medina and Juan (Jonny) Garcia.
She is preceded in death by all seven of her siblings and has left a big void in the lives of all of her nieces and nephews and three additional generations. She was a bright spirit who will be deeply missed.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2 pm at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson Mortuary in Lakewood, Colorado. A viewing and pass by greeting will follow her service at 3 pm. Food and beverages will be served at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson following the services and viewing.
