Linda Jo Goetzfried Rome, beloved wife of Greg Rome, passed suddenly at home on December 26, 2019 and went to be with her Savior. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado by proud parents, Shirley Moore Goetzfried and Dave Goetzfried.
Linda was preceded in death by her dad, Dave Goetzfried (Betty); nephew, Christopher Goetzfried; uncle, Richard Moore; aunt, Anita Moore Dave (Gordon); uncle, Joe Goetzfried (Grace); aunt, Wanda Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Rome; mother, Shirley Moore Goetzfried; sister, Kathy Thal; brothers, Mark (Charlene) Goetzfried; Chis (Lucy) Goetzfried and many nieces and nephews whom she spent hours babysitting in their youth; aunt, Mary Moore Williams (Jerry); uncle, Kenny Moore (Wanda deceased).
Linda attended St Joseph HS, where she and Greg met, graduating in 1968.
They married June 2, 1973 after Greg returned from a tour of duty in Korea. They enjoyed camping and fishing together. She was an avid reader and loved her pet cats.
Linda was humble, suffered in silence and was an example of kindness, gentleness and embodied a peaceful spirit. A little soul who remembered everyone in prayer.
