Joe Romero

Joe F Romero, 85, was born on July 7, 1935, and went on to Heaven on April 2, 2021. Joe was born in Blanca, Colorado. He was a devoted husband to Virginia for 63 years. Joe and Virginia settled in Littleton, Colorado where they raised their son and their grandchildren. Joe loved to spend time with his wife working in the yard or cleaning and shining his cars. He always had the cleanest cars in the neighborhood. If his grandchildren came over to visit and their car was dirty, they would almost always leave with a nice clean car. Joe also loved all Colorado sports teams and if any game was on, he most likely had the television on so he could watch, and give some “coaching” advice from home. Joe adored his family and loved being surrounded by his son, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loving man who would never let his family leave without telling them he loved them. Joe was a strong man with an ability to love deeply and he will be missed by so many. Joe is preceded in death by his Father Alfonso, his Mother Maria, his brothers George and Johnny and his sister Judy, his remaining living siblings are his sisters Jenny, Elsie, Diana, Lisa and Della and his brother Leroy. Joe is survived by his wife Virginia, his son Ray and daughter in-law Becky, his grandchildren Christa and Nicholas and his great-grandchildren Cadence, Jaxen and Danny who will lovingly carry on his legacy.

A funeral service/mass will be held on April 19, 2021 at 11 am at St Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church located at 3801 W Ohio Ave, Denver, CO 80219.
