Born on July 18, 1936 in Denver, Colorado. Passed away on October 20, 2019 in Denver, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents; Vincent and Lucia (Barela) Baca, his siblings; Genevieve Koontz, Vincent Baca Jr., Josephine (Totsie) Timo, Delores (Dodie) Barelea and Stephen Baca. He is survived by his sister Eleanor Chavez and numerous nieces and nephews.
He grew up in East Denver. He served in Hawaii with the United States Army. He voted the first time for JFK by absentee ballot. He had been a volunteer for 40 years for American Red Cross, EGAL Aid Society, ESL (English as a second language) tutor, the Travelers Assistance Program and Families Of The Blind. He retired after thirty years with United Airlines in 1993.
