Sean Copeland (51) passed away on July 14, 2016 at Nice, France with his son, Brodie Copeland (11) in the Bastille Day Attacks. He was the husband of Kim Copeland. They shared 12 years of marriage together.
Born in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of Anya Eakins and John W. Copeland. He was employed by Lexmark.
Love began at home for Sean. He was a dance dad, a football dad, and a baseball dad. His family came first to him. That's what made him different from the other guys. He was generous and kind to all who were in his life. He loved spending days on the lake with family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Kim, two children, Maegan and Austin, mother Anya, brothers Troy and Cary, and sister Amberli.
He was predeceased by his father, John W. Copeland, grandfather, Edgar R. Copeland, grandmother, Foy D. Copeland, grandfather, James H. Armstrong, and grandmother, Mildred M. (Armstrong) Shanks.
The memorial service will be held at Lake Hills Church, Building A, 11431 FM2244, Austin, TX 78738, on Thursday, July 28th at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the non-profit creativeaction.org.
Remember when you leave this Earth, you can take nothing with you that you have received, but only what you have given.
