Patrick was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He moved to Austin, Texas in 1986 with his wife, Julienne, where they raised their family. He spent many years employed in positions that required extensive travel. In 2016 he got a job as Vice President of Supply Chain at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas, where he would be able to stay in one place for a while.
Patrick spent many years volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. He loved all that the national parks had to offer.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Julienne; his children, Matthew (Sabrina), Timothy, Andrew, and Margaret; his grandchildren Joseph, Sally, and his third grandchild due in October. He is also survived by his brother Michael (Suzette); his sisters Kathleen (Leroy) and Beth (Greg); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Cambre, and his parents, Marie and Alfred Cambre.
Due to Covid restrictions and with an abundance of caution, the family has decided not to have a public service or visitation.
Contributions in memory of Patrick may be made to the National Parks Foundation (https://give.nationalparks.org/site/TR?px=2891685&pg=personal&fr_id=1070) or to your local St. Vincent de Paul Society.
