Jewel Mae Taylor Plumley, 89, of Cottonwood Shores, TX, formerly of Austin, TX, passed away June 16, 2011. Jewel was born in Junction, Texas to Tom A. and Fannie Fitzgerald Taylor on March 5, 1922. She was married on August 14, 1938 in Georgetown, Texas to Johnie Floyd Plumley.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years: Johnie Floyd Plumley. She is survived by a sister; Norma Lee Wheless Shafer. Sons; Johnnie Eugene “Gene” Plumley and wife Judy, Floyd Plumley and wife Linda, and daughter Janet K Taylor-Carusi and husband Richard Carusi. 8 Grandchildren; Deborah A. Doherty, John “Alan” Plumley, Johnnie Eugene “JJ” Plumley, Jr., Joy Beth Butler Dunmire, Cassandra Lea Foradory, Crystal Lyn Foradory-Paul, Kristina Eileen Plumley and Katrina M. Plumley Wymer. 9 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Granchild.
Honorary Pall Bearers are: Jimmy Plumley, Darrell Agnew, Bill Plumley, Keith Plumley, Michael Plumley and Jerry Goldstein.
Graveside services will be held at Forest Oaks Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 officiated by Pastor Tommy Wilborn of Grace Outreach Family Church in Bee Creek.
