Gary Peter Byington, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away leaving a legacy of love and kindness. Though short in stature, Gary was larger than life, known for his selflessness, generosity, and gentle spirit.
Gary was born in Norwalk, Connecticut to Donald and Ann (Maher) Byington. He was part of a large family as one of thirteen children. Gary’s life was defined by close bonds and strong family ties. He shared 49 wonderful years with his cherished wife, Denise, who was the love of his life.
Gary was a devoted father to his three children: daughter Dr. Danielle Grant, and her husband Shannon; son Brandon Byington and his wife Erin; and daughter Tiffany. He took immense pride and joy in his six grandchildren: Shaye, Dayne, Declan, Quinn, Casey and Izzy, who were the light of his life.
Gary had a unique ability to make everyone he met feel like an old friend. His kind heart and warm demeanor left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Gary Byington’s life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and generosity. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his loving family, countless friends and loyal dog Kiki. Gary was truly the greatest, and his memory will continue to inspire those he left behind.
A celebration of life will be held in his memory August 5th, 2024 at 5 Soul Wine Co. 4514 Bob Wire Road, Spicewood TX 78669 at 5:30pm.
