Betty W. Blackburn

Betty grew up in Pampa, Texas where she graduated from Pampa High School. Betty married shortly after high school and raised her 4 children predominantly in Dallas, TX. She was a loving and devoted mother. She loved making things with her hands and decorating her home.

Betty and Eddie Blackburn were married and lived in Houston, Texas for many years before they moved to Lakeway, Texas and built their home in 1994. She had many wonderful friends that she met through her Solos club in Lakeway and enjoyed spending time with them.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Silas Walter Kerr and Katie Pauline Kerr, her brother John Kerr and husband Eddie Blackburn.

Betty is survived by her brother Gaylon Kerr of Lubbock, TX, and her children and their spouses Steve Taylor of Midland, TX, Craig and Darla Taylor of Midland, TX, Kellye Baugh of Austin, TX and Kim and Denny Rood of Dallas, TX She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9th at Lakeway Church, 2203 Lakeway Blvd.

Contributions in Betty's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
