With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tina Renee Heysler, 67, of Port St. Lucie, FL, who passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. Born on May 24, 1957, in Maryland, Tina was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, leaving a legacy of kindness and warmth.
Tina was compassionate and strong and always served others. Her passion for helping people drove her to a career in law enforcement. After almost 30 years of service, Tina retired as the assistant chief of the Delray Beach Police Department.
In addition to her service, Tina was a coach for rec, travel, and high school girls’ softball. She also had a love for dogs that was unparalleled. Tina had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Her smile could quickly light up a room, and her laugh would fill people with joy. To know her, be her friend, or be a part of her family was a gift.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Scott Heysler; her children, Lindsay, Lauren, and Leah; her grandchildren, Kylie, Blake, Olivia, and Owen; parents E. Wilson Dove and Janet Holt, and brother Steven Dove.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Tina will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 starting at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461, followed by a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 12:00 PM.
