When we were little, we lived in leisure city. One day, Mike and I had literally driven mom to the edge. She got so frustrated with us she kicked us outside on the front porch, locked the door and told us we had to sit there until our father got home.  We would knock on the door and ask for a drink of water, she would tell us to go find a garden hose. We would knock on the door and ask to go to the bathroom, she told us to go pee in the backyard. When dad pulled up, he asked what was going on. We told him that mom had lost her mind. We even made like a little weird sign around our head like she was crazy. Dad told us to give them a minute and went in the house. Of course, he gets inside and mom tells him the truth. I remember him pulling the door open and telling us to  get our butts in the house! 😂

Lori & Family,
I remember when I was young and Lori, you were watching me for the summer. I was goofing around with Michael's skateboard and I fell and broke my wrist. Aunt Nancy had to leave her job early to come and take me to the ER. I'm sure I was scared, but she reassured me I'd be okay. Later, she made a trip out to our house and gave me a baby doll as a get well present. That has always stood out in my mind that she was loving and thoughtful. I love you all and the way you all helped me when I was going through a difficult time as an adult, displayed that same kind of love and caring. I love you, Beth

So sorry for your loss! Nancy was the sweetest! Every time they came up, they always called me and wanted to see me! Always enjoyed talking to her! Definitely will miss her! 

What a fun phone conversation I had with Nancy back in 2014 when I took over being the data person for our Class of ‘64. It had been many years since our lives in Homestead, and it warmed my heart to visit with her and catch up on her rewarding life. Lori, thank you for taking such good care of your wonderful, mom.

She was fun to be around and her smile was so bright.  I know the pain of loosing a son and husband. I promise that many years out from now it will get better and we can smile again to think of her and not cry.  I am glad she crossed my path.

As with many of our classmates and friends, time separates us and our lives are no longer linked by school and hometown.  I had no idea that Nancy lived so close to me in Florida.  I know that she will be missed by her friends and family.  We were classmates at South Dade High School and I knew her as a friend to all.  My sympathies go out to her family.

My prayers are with you all during this time.  I met Nancy back in 2003 when I moved to Boynton Beach for work.  She was always so sweet.  She always had a smile on her face and could make anyone laugh.  She was so loved and will be missed.  Sending my love to you guys.
