Peterson, Maryann Elaine, 80 of Lake Worth abdicated the surly bonds of earth for the joys of eternity on Friday, July 30, 2021, under Hospice care at the home of her son surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 3, 1941, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to William Kline, Sr. and Mary Bandelow Kline. She met the love of her life, Warren, on the roller rink with whom she had five children. They moved to Lake Worth in the early 1960’s to raise their family. Maryann spent countless years tending to her corner of the now defunct Farmer’s Market. She had many friends at the Market; she was a stranger to none. A plant lover she enjoyed her extensive Certified Wildlife Habitat yard and found great joy caring for whatever 4-legged creature that came her way (and there were many). A friend to all she will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Maryann was predeceased by her parents, Husband Warren, and sons, Warren, Jr., Scott, and Brian. She leaves behind her beloved Cockatoo, Peter, her loving son Mark (Susan), daughter Pamela Mann (Gary) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be visitation on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Dorsey E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, 3100 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33409
