She was born in Ramsgate, England on June 13, 1932 to Marjorie and Albert Pugh. She grew up playing near the White Cliffs of Dover with her siblings Raymond, Marjorie, Brian, Brenda, and Pauline. Much like the children in the Chronicles of Narnia, Mimi and her siblings were evacuated from the coastal town of Ramsgate to the safety of a farm house far inland.
On January, 5, 1952, she married Gail Irvington Muth at St. Lukes Church in Ramsgate, England. Gail and June were known to cut a rug. Their favorite dance was the foxtrot.
She embodied the Fruits of the spirit from the book of Galatians – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Her greatest love in life was raising and caring for children. Of which were:
Children - Robert Edward Muth, Gayle Irene Muth, Glenn Franklin Muth, Deborah Lee Muth, David Neville Muth, and Stephen John Muth as well as 16 grand children and 10 great grand children.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, February 22 @ Lake Osborne Presbyterian Church.
