Margie was born in Marshall, Virginia on March 8, 1936. She later moved to Washington DC with her Mother, Nellie Brown and in 1957 made her final residence in South Florida.
Margie was a very outgoing woman. She enjoyed bowling on a bowling league as a young adult, where she was frequently recognized in the local paper. A woman of many friends and family. She cherished spending time with her friends, whether it was cruising the world, getting together for lunch and drinks, or throwing parties with them. She was always up for a good time. She adored her family and was so proud of all of her grandchildren, she often spoke of how blessed she was to have such a wonderful family. A Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great-Grandmother were the titles that she was so proud to hold. She kept in touch with all of her family and friends daily thanks to Facebook. She was known as "The Queen of Facebook". She was usually the first to "Like" or "Comment" on anything that you would post. She loved to be tagged in all of the pictures of her family so she could proudly share them with all of her friends, carefully describing who each person was and who they belonged to. She had a way of making each and everyone that she knew feel special or thought about often. Whether it was receiving a greeting card or a gift for any and every occasion she was sure to let you know that she was thinking of you.
Margie loved to gamble, she loved her slot machines and playing in the football pool. She was a marvelous cook who spent a lot of time in the kitchen preparing meals and baking. She looked forward to the Holidays when she could whip up her holiday favorites for the family. She was a giver with a heart of gold, an independent woman who stood her ground and would give the shirt off of her back for you. She was a vibrant woman with a contagious spirit and a witty personality who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Margie was preceded in life by her Husband, Wayne Wurster; Mother, Nellie Brown; and Granddaughter, Jacqueline Ratliff.
She will greatly be missed by her family: son Stephan McMichael (Lynn), daughter Terry Flowers (Jim), son Michael Jaillet, daughter Janine Ham (Robert), son Wayne Wurster, stepson Rick Wurster, stepson Greg Wurster, daughter Tricia Wurster Trueblood, 23 Grandchildren, 33 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
