Lorraine Rose Scott

She was born January 7, 1925 to Louis and Emma Lorenzoni in

Vulcan, Michigan. A devoted wife and mother,

she retired to Royal Palm Beach, Florida in 1983 with her

husband of 48 years, Joe.

Lorraine enjoyed biking, swimming and her daily walks

around Indian Trail Villas. She remained in her own

home until moving to Arbor Oaks Assisted Living facility

in July of last year. Lorraine was a loving mother and homemaker

who was always active in her children's lives. She could

sew beautifully even making one of her daughters wedding

dresses. Her pasties and lasagna were family favorites. She enjoyed

many cruises with her daughters and week long vacations to Wisconsin and

Minnesota at the cottages of her prized possessions – her children.

When she smiled her eyes always sparkled and you knew that her heart was

smiling at you too. Lorraine is survived by her loving

family: daughters, Cindy Lederer (Harold) of Waveland,

MS, Sally Englert (Philip) of Palm Springs, FL, Peggy Scott

of Lake Worth, FL, Judy Gerard of Cocoa Beach, FL;

sons, Joseph Scott (Merridy) of Kenilworth, IL, Earl Scott

of Boynton Beach, FL;sisters, Shirley Manincor of Vulcan, MI,

Lois Stuppnig of Menomonie,WI; 14 grandchildren,

5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL with funeral

services to follow. Entombment will be held at Our Lady

Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
