Joshua James Cordero

Joshua was a special young man. He always had a smile on his face and it was contagious; he loved to help other people, especially the elderly. He was so full of life and energy and had a really great sense of humor. Making others laugh made him happy, so whenever he was around, we were sure to be laughing and having a great time.

Joshua was very outgoing. He loved to dance and would go to extreme measures of silliness if that meant he could make others smile. Joshua had so much potential and such a big heart. He has touched so many people in so many different ways.

He was definitely a free spirit. He loved his hair long, video games, paintball, music and meatball subs. He was always up to speed on whatever was trending on social media. He was a very loving brother and had great times with both his older brother Manny and little brother Justin.

Joshua was predeceased in death by Great Great Grandmother Tuya Hiriashi, Great Grandmother Emiko Kamacata, Great Grandmother Mamie Lawrence, Great Great Uncle Susumi Hiriashi, Great Uncle Eakamesa Ebina, Grandfather James David Torrence and Aunt Caroline Sunshine Torrence.

Joshua was loved so very much and will never be forgotten. Sunshine will take care of him now and one sweet day we will all be together again.

Joshua is survived by Grandparents Izumi and Jose Velez, parents Veko Lisa Torrence-Burgos and biological father Jose Labrada, Aunt Lynn Torrence-Lambert, Uncle Dan Lambert, Stepfathers Martin Malmquist (Marty was Josh's predominant father figure throughout most of his life) and Pedro Burgos (Lisa's current husband- Although he was a stepfather for a short period of time, he cared for him). Brothers Manuel Cordero, Justin Malmquist, Matthew Labrada, Nephews Isaiah Cordero, Isaac Cordero, Sisters Jazmine Labrada and Courtney Hall, Great Aunt Kaori Okawa and Great Uncle Susumu Okawa, Great Aunt Mayumi Ebina, Great Grandfather Yochnao Kamacata, Cousins Masato Okawa, Kazuhito Okawa, Hidato Ebina, Stepbrother Dravin Burgos, Stepsister Jaliyah Burgos.
