Joann Edds

JoAnn Edds, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away at the age of 73 on July 11, 2024 due to complications of a long term illness. JoAnn was born on September 12, 1950 in New Bedford, MA. She was one of six children born to her parents. JoAnn's first marriage was blessed with three children. She later married Omer Gerold (Jerry) Edds on March 17, 1984.

JoAnn worked alongside her husband Jerry in building, owning, and operating Jerry's Turf Products in Boynton Beach for many years. Know for her work ethic, she worked hard until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and took great pride in her children and grandchildren.She loved playing board games with her family and also loved playing many games on her phone.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Jerry. She was also preceded by her parents, four of her siblings, and one grandchild.

She is survived by her children Sheryl (Michael) Kremer of Sumter, SC, Sheila Halle of Lake Worth, FL and Brian Halle of Boynton Beach, FL. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, give great grandchildren and one brother.

A visitation for Joann will be held Monday, July 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Dorsey/E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A religious ceremony will occur Monday, July 15, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A committal service will occur Monday, July 15, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Rd, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33461.

Those who desire may make memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
