Jeanne C. Rhodes

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 10, 1930 and married the love of her life on November 30, 1946.

Jeanne's passion was for her family and her ministries through Family Church. She prayed every single day for her family and friends.

She loved her career as a teacher at First Baptist Christian Academy. She loved the children she cared for as if they were her own. She was a member of Family Church of West Palm Beach.

Jeanne was adored by her 5 daughters and their families: Joyce (Dr. Ronald) Giddens, Donna Rhodes, Carol (Bruce) Steiner, Nancy (Joe) Haun, and Ruth (Glenn) Burgess, 3 granddaughters, 10 grandsons, and 23 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her 3 sisters: Marjorie, Dolores, and Kathleen.

Friends may visit at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. A celebration of Jeanne Rhodes life will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jimmy Fogleman officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation.

Her legacy will live on.
