Janet Elaine Dover, age 73, was greeted to her heavenly home in the early hours of November 30, 2021, after a courageous battle. Janet was born in 1948 in Morristown, NJ to William & Clara Ullmann and grew up with her siblings and was surrounded by her large family and numerous friends. Janet was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into her motherhood. She met her former husband Charles in 1967 while at her job at Papa Leo’s and they fell in love and knew they both shared a love for family and decided to start their own. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. She always made time for her children and spoiled them as much as she possibly could. When Janet became a grandmother, she was absolutely thrilled that she could give even more love to her family. When she was not bragging about her grandchildren, Janet loved Elvis, cooking, baking, reading and the outdoors especially the pool and beach. Janet made every birthday and holiday magical, and her tradition of baking Christmas cookies will be carried on by her kids and grandkids. She will be greatly missed by her family and especially her son Eddie, daughters: Becky & Darlene, her son in laws Don & Dennis, grandsons James & Paul and granddaughters Faith & Elizabeth who adore her with all their hearts.
Janet is also survived by her brothers Dick & Bill and her sister Yvonne. She will also be forever remembered by her sister in laws, brother in laws, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends. There will be a celebration of Janet’s life at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home and Lake Worth Memory Gardens on December 6, 2021 beginning at 10:00AM to 11:00AM with a gathering of family and friends. 11:00AM-12:00PM Celebration of Life Service. 12:00PM to 1:00PM A graveside service.
