He was born and raised in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. During the Korean Conflict he served
proudly with the U.S. Army. Howard then returned home and was employed as a supervisor
with General Motors, in Rochester, New York, until his retirement in 1999.
He relocated to South Florida where he met and married his wife of 12 years Rose, Howard leaves his wife,
two children Sharon and her husband Mickey Ellison, Mark and his wife Woosoon Rubright, 4 grandchildren:
Kelly Zona, Dan Shumway, Jason Rubright, Crystal Rubright. He also leaves to cherish his memory
5 great grandchildren, his brother Richard and his wife Carol Rubright and sister Grace Marie Solonick.
Howard was a parishioner at St. Mark Catholic Church in Boynton Beach. His family will receive friends on
Wednesday evening between 6:00 & 8:00PM at the funeral home. His wife will be celebrated there
on Thursday at 2:00 PM and he will be entombed immediately following at Lake Worth Memory Gardens
