George P. Zapf, age 87, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. George was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Paul George and Margaret (Lang) Zapf.
He will forever be remembered by his loving wife and best friend Nancy (Rosemarie) and their children, daughter Marcia Best (Mike Roy) and son Paul (Donna) Zapf; three grandchildren Chandler Shiner, Brandon Zapf, and Daniel Zapf.
A visitation for George will be on Saturday, December 17 starting at 1:00pm at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, a prayer service will begin at 2:00pm. A committal service will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. A reception for family and friends will follow after the commital back at the funeral home begining at 4:00pm.
