Born June 24, 1921 in Niles, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Grover F. and Nellie Marie (Carlisle) Crawford. She graduated from Warren High School in Warren, Ohio.
Doris worked in banking for Southeast Banks and during World War II she worked in the Pentagon in Washington DC.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society of the Palm Beaches and had a passion for interior decorating, socializing, and celebrating holidays. She had exuberance for life and her Christian faith.
She is survived by 2 sons Clarence “Skip” J. Measelle and Larry G. Measelle (wife Rina); three grandchildren Chad J., Larry J., and Daniel C. Measelle; and four great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering Saturday October 14 from 6 to 6:30pm at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
