Diane married her beloved Walter in 1953, and immigrated to Paterson, New Jersey in 1957. The Brills relocated to Lake Worth, Florida in 1973. Diane was an active member of the Lake Worth Christian Reformed Church for 37 years.
Diane’s life was dedicated to caring for her family. She put God and her family above everything else. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Diane will be deeply missed by her family and is survived by her son, Ed (Michelle) Brill of Boynton Beach, daughter, Diane Brill Owens of Lake Worth, grandchildren, Danielle (Micah) McCoy, Paul (Devin) Brill, Joel (Katie) Brill, and Elizabeth Owens, and great-grandchildren, Isaiah McCoy, Alicia McCoy, Rebecca McCoy, Jace Brill, Shea Brill, Kaden Brill, and Ayla Brill. Diane is also survived by brother-in-law, Reinder Bril, sisters-in-law Martine Bril DeVries, and Zus Bakker, and dear nieces and nephews in New Jersey, Montana, Canada, Germany, and The Netherlands.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hedzerika Bakker, and four sisters and two brothers, Alice (John) Elzinga, Popke (Geessiena) Bakker, Dieuwke (Harry) Kok, Janie (Jim) Reid, Jan (Grietje) Bakker, and Atsje (Edward) Bril.
