Daniel A. Lynch, Jr. was born in Miami, Florida on June 27, 1947 to Daniel A. Lynch, Sr. and Betty Regan Lynch. He spent his lively younger years in Lake Osborne and Lake Worth, attending and graduating from Lake Worth High School in 1965. His youth was full of adventures with friends – relishing in daredevil-like activities.
Danny spent 6 years serving in the United States Air Force, stationed in New Mexico and working on aircraft as a specialized welder during the Vietnam War. He proudly remained in the Lake Worth and West Palm Beach area for the majority of his life. He also enjoyed spending time at Lake Okeechobee with his parents, family, and kids on the lake. Danny enjoyed and was skilled in all types of fishing, boating on lakes and the ocean, growing and tending to his yard and plants, flea marketing, and he was a true patriot of America.
After a short and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Daniel passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024, just shy of his 77th birthday. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Betty, his sister Beverly, and his son Bryan Daniel, along with several other cherished family members. Danny is survived by his sister Judy Lynch Renault (Jim) and their family, children Kelly Jean Lynch and Jodi Megan Bockwoldt (Lee), Denise Murphy (Bryan), and John Woodard (Melissa), along with several very special cousins. He was a proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 3.5 great-grandkids.
Danny held his family and many close friends immensely dear and he was deeply saddened to see so many leave before him. He will be remembered most as a loving and whole-hearted father and family man, whose humor and genuine spirit will be deeply missed by the many people who hold him dear.
