Carmen E. Gomez, 68, of Greenacres passed away under the care of Hospice of Palm Beach county on August 10, 2013. Carmen was born and raised in Cuba, moving to the U.S. in 1980 settling in Passaic, NJ coming to tis area in 1994. She had been employed with the Palm Beach County School Board before her retirement. She is survived by her 3 children, sons, Juan Manuel del Sol, Edwardo Hernandez, and daughter Maiyoli Gershberg, 9 brothers and sisters, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends on Thursday evening between 5-11:00 PM with a 9:00 wake service at the funeral home. Carmen's funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00AM. Entombment will follow immediately at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
