Anise M. Callas, 76, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022, at her home. Anise grew up in small-town Georgia, but after graduating high school saw her wanderlust take her to Atlanta, Chicago, and Honolulu before finally settling in South Florida. Entering the world on the Epiphany and departing on Christmas Day, she carried the Christmas spirit with her throughout her life. Anise made every room brighter with her presence. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Anise was predeceased by her husband, Andy, and by her son, Jonathan. She is survived by her sons, George and Daniel; by her grandchildren, Lilly, Andrew, and Giuliana; by her sisters Inez and Doris; and by her husband, Ron Schenberg. Anise requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Anise’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33461, on January 7th at 1:00pm. For those who would like to donate to charity in lieu of sending flowers, please contribute to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (https://phassociation.org/).
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.dorsey-smithmemorygardens.com for the Callas family.
