Age 69 of West Palm Beach, passed away March 23, 2016. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and son. Allan was a very intelligent man that had a broad spectrum of interests. He was a gifted musician; he played with numerous bands in high school and college. He was a remedial teacher for troubled teens. He then became a sales manager for United Consumers Club. There, he was a mentor to many people who have benefited from the skills that he taught them. Allan married his life partner Jodie and together they built a successful Decorative concrete coating company, that they were still operating together after 28 years, Allan was great to be around because he was so knowledgeable and had an interest in so many subjects including music, sports, politics, movies, history, etc.
Allan is survived by his loving family: his wife Jodie Quackenbush; daughter Katharine Quackenbush; as well as many other relatives and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 2nd at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, Lake Worth, FL. Interment will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
