He was born and raised in Scuddy, Kentucky to the late Goodlow and Beatrice Combs.
He attended local schools and was a graduate of Vicco High School. He served with the Naval Reserve during WWII for one year. He then joined the Air Force and served as an aircraft mechanic. During this time he served
in Korea, Iceland and the Panama Canal Zone. After serving in the military for 20 years he retired.
Aaron then attended and was a graduate of Palm Beach University with a degree in accounting.
He was employed as City Clerk with the City of Greenacres from which he retired in 1988.
He was a faithful and active member at the Greenacres 1st Baptist Church where he was a
Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He and his wife Elzora enjoyed spending their summers in Newland,
North Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Elzora, also special family members Ronald, Patricia and Geana Luke, Vann and Kristine Ross and many more. Aaron touched their lives and many more, all were friends and family. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3rd, between 11:00 am & 12:00 noon, at the Greenacres 1st Baptist Church 2031 Swain Blvd., Greenacres, where his life will be celebrated at 12:00noon. Aaron will be laid to rest immediately following at the South Florida Veteran Cemetery, Lake Worth with military
honors. In lieu of flowers donations to the Gideon Bible Association would be greatly appreciated.
