Yvonne Lucille Bond, age 86, of Hastings, Michigan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Yvonne was born on February 24, 1937 in Hastings, MI to Marion and Grace (Brandt) Clem. On March 30, 1957 she married Phillip R. Bond and spent 66 years together. Yvonne was a 1955 graduate of Woodland High School and then went to work at Hastings City Bank. She retired from Hastings Felpausch after 20 years of service. Yvonne was an avid reader. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and the kids fondly remember lots of canning and freezing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Yvonne attended the Woodgrove Parish in Coats Grove for almost fifty years.
She will be forever loved and missed by, her husband Phillip, children Ronald (Barbara) Bond, Bonnie (Richard) Buskirk, DeLane (Donald) Cline, 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters and 2 brother in laws.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Woodgrove Parish, 4887 Coats Grove Rd, Hastings, MI 49058 Starting at 11am with funeral beginning at 12 noon. Yvonne will then be laid to rest in Clarksville Cemetery.
Memorials in Yvonne's name can be given to either St. Jude's or The Shriner's.
