Tony Velte, age 61, of Woodland, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at his home. Tony was born on August 19, 1963 in Hastings, MI to Richard and Beverly (Henry) Velte. Tony was 1981 graduate Lakewood High School. Tony was a pilot for many years teaching people to fly hang gliders and more recently teaching out of Ionia. He was also a avid kite flyer and was quite good with stunt kites.
Tony leaves behind his brothers; James Velte and Scott Velte, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
According to his wishes cremation is to take place and Celebration of his life will be held on July 19,2025 at the Woodland Eagles, 125 N Main St, Woodland MI 48897 from 1pm until 4pm.
