Iowa - Wade Keith Dyson, 43, of Iowa passed away January 22, 2014 in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Wade Keith was born and raised in Grand Chenier on February 2, 1970. Wade died from Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
He was of the Catholic faith and an alter boy for St. Eugene Catholic Church in Grand Chenier. He loved his horses and being a part of the W & L Trail Riders. Wade never met a stranger and enjoyed being with his friends. He loved to cut up and joke with them.
Wade is survived by his parents; Chester and Dora Dyson, daughters; Kristen Flood and husband Will, Brooke Dyson, Tiffany Dyson and Hadley Dyson, sons; Dylan and Javonte Ballard, grandson; Bently Dyson; grandmother; Veda Boudreaux as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents; Elias and Cressie Dyson, maternal grandfather; Garland Boudreaux, uncle; Patrick Boudreaux and stepdaughter; Abbie Walker.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for prayers and kindness shown through his illness. His caregivers, Charlotte Marcotte, Cassie Cooley, Dr. Jordan and Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and visitation will resume Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
