Virgil “Ann” Fontenot Borel, 68, was entrusted to God’s loving care on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in a local hospital.
She was a resident of Lake Charles. Virgil was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Borel, Jr. and Steven Borel and wife, Kay; one daughter, Tammy Powers and husband, Lindsay; two brothers, Sanford Fontenot and Dale Fontenot; two sisters, Arlene Fontenot and Myrtle Desmarteau; and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Zula Benoit Fontenot.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30am Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Lake Charles. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery.
