

He was born in Swords, LA and resided in Lake Charles for over 60 years. He was a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church. He was a WWII Veteran, having served in the Air Force. He was an oil field worker and operated several service stations in Lake Charles.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Josephine Consunado LeJeune of Lake Charles; three sons, Vincent LeJeune Jr. and wife Linda of Sulphur, Craig LeJeune and wife Glenda of Sulphur and Steve LeJeune of Lake Charles; three daughters, Sherrie Gremillion and husband Bobby of Lake Charles, Cindy Manuel and husband Peter of Deridder and Charlotte Guidry of Lake Charles, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Aymar and mother Edolia LeJeune, 6 brothers, 4 sisters, 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild. Our special gratitude is extended to Odyssey Hospice, especially Ms. Barbara, Ms. Crystal and Ms. Anita.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation is Sunday from 3-9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. til time of service. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. Rev. Deacon Dan Landry will officiate. Burial was in Consolata Cemetery.
