He proudly served the country in the United States Navy. Thomas was taught how to crochet by his mother and enjoyed making blankets, scarves, and Afghans for his family. An avid storyteller, he never met a stranger and welcomed everyone into his home. Thomas was a great gardener, whether vegetables or flowers, his garden always flourished. He was always willing to share with anyone in need and made sure nothing went to waste. Thomas coached his children’s ball games from T-Ball to baseball, football, and softball. He was a man of few words but left a large impact on all the lives he touched. Thomas is already deeply missed by all who loved him.
He leaves behind his adoring wife of 57 years, Barbara Oldham; daughter, Anncie Wright and husband John; sons, Thomas Oldham Jr. and wife Nicola, and John Oldham; grandchildren, Timothy Oldham and partner Jessica, Jessica Oldham, Crystal Oldham, Kevin Wright and fiancé Taylor, Jesse Wright and spouse Morgan, Angel Wright and spouse Bethany, and John Cody Wright; great-grandchildren, Jace, Chris, Jackson, Miles, Kiptin, Kasen, Grady, Graham, Noah, and Thomas.
Thomas is preceded in death by his brother, Roy Oldham; and his parents, Cleo and Joseph Oldham.
