I found two more pix of Terry in the high school singing groups.

When we were in high school, he sang in the Boys Quartet as Baritone, Gil Dougay as Bass, Richard Ott as 2nd Tenor, and Claude Winegeart (myself) as 1st Tenor in the District and State Music Ralleys.
He was a really nice guy and everyone like him.

I was in the band The Oracle with Terry in the 1960's. We cut a record in LA with Curt Boettcher and Keith Olson in 1967
Randy Blevins played drums. Joey Wright played bass guitar. Ronnie Hamilton played rhythm guitar and Terry played lead guitar and arranged all the material we played. He was the leader of the band. I was called Bill at the time, I was the lead singer. 
I learned from Terry's sister Ruanne that Terry had died, when she commented on the YouTube of "The Night We Fell in Love", the side to our single that Terry wrote.  The other side was "Don't Say No"

I just saw the obituary. I was a friend of Terry's from Monroe, Louisiana. Played guitar with him in the 70's. I am truly dismayed to hear of his passing. He was a great talent and a joy to be around.

RueAnn, I just today heard about Terry. I had lost touch with him for many years, but have memories of his guitar playing at our home after the bible study. We always enjoyed it. May Jehovah give you and your family and friends strength and comfort at this time.

I just found out about Terry. I knew Terry for many years. He will be missed.

It was an honor to know Pops. Though I only knew for about a year, I looked forward to seeing every week. I last saw him a little over a week ago with a few other friends. As we we're saying our goodbyes, he asked if he could pray for us. He said a beautiful prayer, we said our goodbyes and love yous then went on our way. Pops was such a sweet, gentle soul. He is missed.

Terry was fun and funny always had a great attitude.He will be missed by all that knew him. RIP Terry Green....

Rueann, my prayers are with you and all of your family in your time of loss.  Terry was a wonderful human being who shall always be remembered affectionately as a person and with awe of his musical talent, especially by those of us who were so very fortunate to have grown up in that era.  He was so very very talented and brought so much pleasure to so many.  He was devout in his beliefs and I have no doubt this his Creator welcomed him with open arms lovingly. To a fellow guitar player...in 1964, I would watch Terry play lead guitar and would go home and try to play just like him. I went on to play guitar for 40+ years and know how much Terry influenced me. To me, Terry Green was the "Bad Roads" and will be greatly missed!! Gary Reynolds

I always enjoyed getting together and everyone would sing with Terry.  It was a fun time for all.  He will be missed.  I know he will be resurrected by Jehovah.  We just have to make sure we are there to welcome Terry back.  Rue, I love you and miss you and my prayers are with you.

Terry was a friend and classmate at LaGrange H.S.   He followed his conscience about keeping his surfer / Beatle style hair.  He and The Bad Roads helped bring happiness to many of us who were trying to find our way in this world.  We were continuing friends in S.F., but I lost track of him when I moved to Oregon.   My brother Mike kept in touch with him.

I knew Terry from my brother Mike.  Great memories!

We went through Hurricane Rita together, and some other tough times.  Terry had a very strong belief in the Creator. They both understood me to be like the apostle Thomas, and they forgave me.

So glad I was able to spend time recently with Terry. RIP, my friend.

Great guy and an amazing talent..Could hear a song and play it perfectly. Loved to play music.

Rueann, So many have been sadden by the news of Terry's passing. I've been flooded with so many memories of those early years playing and being with Terry. Such a sweet and gentle soul, and one killer lead guitar player...forever a Bad Road. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

So sorry to hear of Terry's passing.  Terry was one of the first people I met when I came to Lake Charles in the mid 1970's.  We lost track of each other over the years as friends unfortunately sometimes do but I will always remember him as a good friend, a great musician and a genuinely fine human being.
Rest in peace Terry and may perpetual light shine upon you.
