Steven Jay Parker, 58, of Lake Charles, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. He was born to his late parents, Milliard and Lucille Parker on October 28, 1960 in Lake Charles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on small engine repairs. Steven also enjoyed his vegetable garden and fruit trees. He was a self employed highway technician. His family was a very important part of his life, and he loved them very much.
He is survived by his fiance', Rachel Rodriguez; two brothers, Larry Dale Parker and wife Jennifer of Lake Charles; and Troy Lee Parker and wife Greer of Lake Charles.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles Ronald Parker and Joel Douglas Parker.
