Ruby Mae Laughlin Pearson

She was born in Gueydan and lived in Lake Charles. Ruby was a member of the non-denominational faith. Early in life she worked as a cashier for Loves Men's Store. Most of her life was spent as a homemaker devoted to her husband and family. Ruby was a faithful and loyal Christian who loved her Lord and Savior.

Survivors include her son, Garland Gothreaux and wife Dorene of Sulphur; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Pearson; daughter, Kitty Jones; and grandson Shane Gothreaux.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm and Thursday from 8am until service time at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Her service will be Thursday at 10am at the funeral home.
